Default Topic: Posting photos / images - Can anyone help?

Thanks for your interest and to CallmasterV for posting helpful info

In case others also need help posting photos or other images, here are step-by-step instructions.

Also, iSJ members who make a payment of $25 or more can use the built-in iSJ photo-posting option (details are here: http://www.isaintjohn.com/Upgrades/). You also get a variety of other upgrades, and can use your payment to purchase special advertising or other services.

How to post a photo or image (in less than a minute):

(1) Go to a photo-posting site, like:
www.photobucket.com - a good option if you have a lot of photos
www.imageshack.us - a good option if you don't want to register on the photo site (you can just upload the photo and they will give you some code to post it... it would literally take less than a minute)

(2) PhotoBucket/ImageShack will give you some code to post your photo... it will start with [img] and end with [/img]

(3) If you copy and paste that code into your iSJ ad, and click "Save" on your ad, your photo/image should show-up.

For example, on ImageShack, after you upload your photo, you'll see something like this (below)... if you copy & paste one of the "forum code" options into your ad, then your photo will show-up in your iSJ ad:

Another option (instead of using the code that PhotoBucket/ImageShack provide) is to just get the web address of the photo you want to post, and then when editing your ad, click on the button below and input the photo's web address (as seen below). This is useful if you found an image online and would like to include it in your ad (for example, if you're selling your sofa and don't have a photo of it, but you found an image online of a similar one).

That covers it all, but some other details on how to use the [img] code are also here:
