That's the problem!! Why were they so disorganized?? I don't understand why it wasn't priority groups to begin with!

My daughter was diagnosed last night with the H1N1 virus. We went up to the Regional, and all I can say is what a waste of time. Anyone that has been there recently knows what I am talking about.
I think she will be fine... we finally got her fever to break today. She is quarantined to her room though for the next 7 days, so that she doesn't infect the rest of us. All you can do is wait it out and hope for the best. Some cases aren't as severe as others, and I am hoping it will be the case with my daughter.

How old is your daughter and what school does she go to?
I will have you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Best of luck!

What time were you there? I was there also with my 9 month old and eventually left after a couple of hours. The Triage nurse didn't make me think there was much more they could've done for my daughter that I wasn't already doing at home. Her 40.5 fever had broke by the time we saw her and she fell asleep in the stroller whild waiting to see the Doctor and I fiigured we were taking more risk sitting there around all the other coughing, hacking people, so I took her home.

My little ones have been very sick with high temp and cough, runny nose, and aches. I called Tele Care last night, and after consulting with them, decided the same as you Mrs. B, not worth the risk of taking them around all the germs . We are treating the symptoms right now, and my oldest is on the mend, however, my little one is still running a fever.

Good for you and Mrs B!! I found out that my child was around a child just diagnosed with H1N1 and I'm not going to lie and say I'm not worried at all but I know that going to the hospital with her not in any serious threat would be ridiculous. She did have a fever so far but nothing more than that, I know it can take a couple days but I'm thinking positive. Make sure they get lots of fluids, vitamin C and D and they should be fine. I keep Gatorade around to keep up their electrolites, not sure if that's the right spelling but you know what I mean. All the best to the parents dealing with this!

The baby's fever just spiked to 40.5 again, her cough and breathing are now raspy, guess it's off to the Flu clinic for us tomorrow in the morning!

It's started spreading like wild flower. 1 daughter, getting over it, and another picked it up.. my oldest came home today, she has a high fever, and has been vomiting, and now I think I might be coming down with it. We had to send 2 of our others kids to their grandmother's for the week in hopes that they will avoid it. At least the other 2 have had their shots.
