My 9 month old isn't really crawling yet.

My 9 month old daughter isn't crawling right and I have no idea if this is normal or not. She pulls herself with her arms and drags her legs behind her. She has a dr's appointment next week so I am going to ask her as well, I just wanted to know if anyone elses kids did this? My other daughter was the exact opposite, she was walking by 10 months lol.

mine did the exact same thing until about 2 weeks ago, then she start playing with another child around the same age and now we can get her to stop moving, but my 3 year old started when she was like 5-7 months so its all in the kid, id say you have nothing to be worried about

Normal. Some babies don't even crawl at all and go right to walking.

My daughter was 10 1/2 months before she started crawling. Our doctor said she was just a content baby who would start crawling when she wanted to get somewhere. He was right. And when she did start, it was pulling with her arms, just like your daughter. Don't worry - it will come.

My nine month old does what I call the "hermit crab crawl" one knee and one foot...it's quite funny to see her go!!!

These are all so cute and make me think back...my son never crawled at all...he used his legs to push himself along on his back or rolled to where he wanted to go. Later he started to walk and gave up the rolling and pushing. At the time I thought it was very odd but each baby chooses their own unique little way to get around.
