Okay, I'm going to hand everyone a laugh here, but is there still such a thing as the seven-year limit on an outstanding bill? For example if you owed a company like, say, Eaton's, and you hadn't made any payments for the last seven or eight years (and they hadn't bothered you for payments in that time), can they all of a sudden come after you for payment til either you pay in full or you die of old age?
My dad told me that at one time they couldn't come after you for money after seven years because they had to release you from the debt.
