Indian Resturant on Thorne Ave next to grave yard

I was only about 5 or 7 back in 80 or 82 there was a resturaunt I believe where the carwash is now. My uncle used to live in the house that was attached to Spring works and he used to take me there every Saturday for Currie fries..mmm mmmm mmmm I can still taste them. Can anyone remember what the name of that place was?

Does anyone remember the little food shacks down at McLaren's Beach, off of Sand Cove Rd West. My parents used to own one of them back in the late 70's. I was just a lad but I remember people lined up to buy the clams and chips. It was actually a very nice beach in it's hayday.
