Topic: Places like ICS Canada or Stratford Institute....
I didn't ask, I just figured it was policy and why question policy. I even asked a tutoring place and they look for "certified" teachers. I can only assume its because they want to make sure who they hire is good with kids. And how can you tell when the person just took a correspondence course. Seems a bit unfair considering I want to take a course, I want to get on track and start a career, but can't afford to spend thousands of dollars to be educated at an institution. I even told her that I wanted to take this course to get started and then in 3-4 years, when I can afford it, get into university for my bachelor of education. I told them they were accredited through the Education and Training Council, does that not matter?, and she said it doesn't matter you still need a job placement during your course.
