We had been using TD for many years NTTG, but after recently checking around, we have found HopeGrant to be CONSIDERABLY better priced. Andrew there really surprised me with the rates. Makes me mad because I had been with TD for 15 yrs...from renting an apt to house...never again.

HA! Nother little tidbit about TD, I was with them since I was 16, and had accrued upwards of $90 every month in debit charges. Did that for two years and asked on several occasions how I could lower the charges... The only answer I got? 'Use debit less' until when I was 18 a guy said 'we have a $12 infinity account, you could always try that.' (don't mean to hyjack, but TD's always left a sour taste in my mouth.)

I had a quote done a few weeks ago by State Farm, they were the cheapest for rental insurance by far, now car insurance on the other hand....

I agree, State Farm is cheap when it comes to renters insurance, especially if you bundle up with them. I pay under $20 a month. However, they are definitely not the cheapest when it comes to insurance, I shopped around the cheapest for car insurance was All State.

It's not only the rates that you should be concerned about but how they process claims if you happen to have one..
We've been with State Farm for almost 20 years now..have had four claims..they are fast, very efficient and fair!
Be very careful with All State...they are well known for screwing people around.
