Acadian Flag at Olympics!
All right, who brings an acadian flag to the Olympics? Will someone please explain to me why anyone would wave any other flag, other then the countries that are compeating! I think he looked foolish. We compete as a Nation!!!!

So what if they were French...it is a good job all the people didn't decide to bring a flag of their decent. It was the Canadian Olympics, not French Olympics. It appears they are more proud to be called French than Canadian. There is one in every crowd. JMO

That's not a big deal at all... I also saw provincial flags, including New Brunswick's.

There's nothing wrong with that... people wanted to let others know which region they're from and/or show pride in that region (whether the province of New Brunswick, or the general region of Acadia). At its core, it's really the same as waving a Canadian flag or any other flag.
